Interactive Kids' Space at Play Factore

Projection-based games for kids

Series of mini-games for interactive projection walls in an open play area for children aged four to six. The experience follows a factory theme and uses existing mascots, forming a loose journey across multiple walls. I was responsible for the game design of the entire space, from the first concepts to the production blueprints.

The final blueprint of the four selected games. The main challenge was creating a space where children could join at any moment, play in any order, and still immediately understand what was happening. Together, the games form a loose story from colors and shapes to fully formed mascots.

This is a collaborative quest where children help mascots move through a factory full of machines and obstacles. While one mascot may be in the spotlight, others continuously appear and follow behind, allowing multiple children to participate at the same time.

A free-play area where children can experiment with the mascots, trigger animations, and create funny variations. The sandbox completes the overall balance of the experience, which ranges from simple cause-and-effect interactions to reaction challenges, problem-solving, and open-ended play.

Final graphics illustrated by another artist based on my blueprints, layouts, and interaction concepts, following Play Factore's visual style.

The games were warmly received by both children and their parents, which was the best outcome I could have hoped for.
